Best places: Transit stops in Como, Italy

👍 A pleasant older station while I was going from Milano to Venezia. Surrounded by greenery and old buildings. Not a huge station but a little one. Overall clean and pleasant environment all around. Loved the beautiful lake or river with a bridge nearby.

👍👍 Station remodeled a few years ago both externally which created 1 large square with 1 fountain, and internally with all the underpasses and stairs completely redone, in the style of the stations of large cities. It looked clean to me. There is a bar next door, free bathrooms and a waiting room.

😠 Positive experience in 2021 Negative experience in 2022. I, my partner and our 4-legged buck friend arrived at the cable car. We buy tickets to go up the cable car..cost per buck=cost of one person (but that's ok). They told me that to make him go up I had to put a muzzle on him and that's fine.......

👍 It is already known that the station is a transit point for countless drug addicts. Apart from this, I have always found the station efficient even if, here and in Venice Santa Lucia, regional trains often depart and arrive a few minutes later than the scheduled time, certainly to wait for tourists....
