Best places: Historical landmarks in Vacoas, Mauritius

👍👍 Spectacular view from the top and also on the trail. First 2/3 is nice walk up the hill and last 1/3 is a bit climbing and rocky. Totally worth the hike. I went through the fence and arrived at the top within 45 min (fast pace), looked the sunset and came back with 45min (with flashlight).

👍 A VERY important part of our island's history,yet a very sad, forgotten place,that if i remember rightly, you have to walk on a back road kinda path to get to it,as ( 5-6 years ago when i went) if it wasn't for my dad's knowledge of it, i would have never known of its existence... 😕

👍👍 It’s absolutely worth it to visit this area (7colored earth, turtles, waterfall etc). The earth is more beautiful on photos but it’s not a disappointment to go there.
