👍👍 Our Lady of the rock is an artificial island in Montenegro. The city of Perast can be seen opposite. The church is something amazingly beautiful and has a great historical past. Boats depart, boats can be rented in Tivat, Perast, Kotor to access the island.

This Romanesque Catholic church built in 1166 houses many gold & silver religious relics & frescoes.

😐 The church itself is not really attractive. However, the view from here is nice. You can have bird-eye view of Kotor bay from here and along the hike. If you hike Ladder of Kotor, you will pass by this small church along the way. If you enter before 8am, its free. After that, its €8/tix.

😐 Its nice to stroll around if you are into history and museum. Dont expect an impressive and ancient church for this. Compared to other churches in Europe, this one is pretty so so.
