Best places: Monasteries in Tarakeshwar-11, Nepal

👍👍 Beautiful place. There's a restaurant and parking area as well. There's a big park about 800m away from here which is great for picnics. And there's another Gumba nearby too. The way is a little troublesome if you travel from Kapan.

👍👍 Remember to visit the Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche Memorial Stupa at the 3rd floor from main puja hall's backside door.

👍 Though White Gumba is closed for some time, The Surroundings are Quite a magical View. Recommended to take a break from routine life and visit once for relaxation.

👍 This monastery popular known as "white monastery" locally,it is where many foreign studies either language or Buddhist teaching and philosophy. We visit sometime and enjoy their calm and serenity environment.

👍 When I visited, it was closed so I didn't get a chance to experience what the place is like inside but the outside was great. It's on a hill so there's a short climb to get there.
