👍👍 The best of the bays along here I think. I love how quiet this place is in spring, sometimes you're the only one down there! Beautiful calm water, great for swimming if you're brave enough for the cold water!

Reserve set up in 1992 with snorkelling for all ages and information panels about marine life.

👍👍 A beautiful area to go for a stroll taking in the view and the clean air. People & families walking others jogging and running. Cafes and restaurants are nearby if you get hungry or thirsty. If you are at Taupo you shouldn't miss taking a walk here!

👍👍 If you live nearby this is the best place for a lazy dip. So warm and shallow, great for teaching Billy to swim. There's a playground, toilets and plenty of parking.

👍👍 A really special place. Felt like I was in another world, and it's only a few minutes drive from town. Beautiful trees and fun to walk on the boardwalk that flows with the massive tree roots. Interesting bits of information to read along the way. Easy walk too. Nice to get a quick dose of the bush.
