Best places: Things to dos in Cromwell Community, New Zealand

👍👍 Driving from Wanaka to Queenstown we found this to be a perfect stop both to stretch our legs and get sone great photos. We even watched 2 jets approach Queenstown Airport for their landings.

Thrill-seekers' attraction offering jumps from as high as 134 m, plus catapulting & zip-lining.

Center offering various driving experiences, plus sculptures, a sports car museum & mountain vistas.

Historic 10-story bridge built in 1880 known as the birthplace of bungy jumping.

Gold rush-era (1860s) buildings restored & used for shops & cafes next to Lake Dunstan.

At the top of a switchback road, this lookout offers scenic views of rugged peaks & small farms.

👍👍 I must admit I was not sure what to expect, when I crossed the bridge but enjoyed it so much. The staff were friendly, and super helpful. I learnt so much about the history of the Golf fields, about Gold in general, and loved the lesson and experience of panning for Gold.
