๐๐ A great destination to visit. We followed the red trail (there are few colour coded trails) which had lots of good scenic spots, with farm lands, beach and forest. It's not a hard trail, 50:50 hill to flat land ratio I would say. There are trail markers and maps, so it is easy to find your way. We e...

๐๐ One of the most popular waterfall in Greater Auckland area. The fall can be very wide after heavy rain and it can cause drowning. A good photo spot. The bush walk is easy.

๐ I travelled from central auckland to this reserve just to see some beautiful strem going through but the bush walk looked like this hasn't been touched for years, also there were two ways to go to the strem but both were closed! Inshort there's no way you can see stream , there should be markings at...

๐ The slide is awesome!!!!! Two for races and a fun balance course to get back to the top.
Funky storm drain under a communal table. A bbq for public use, plus walkways and other play equipment.
Shorter lawns would have been appreciated but still had loads of fun.

Orere Point Beach Reserve

๐ With rugged rocky terrain its not a great walking or swimming beach but has beautiful views. The cliffs are magnificent and the overhanging trees are old but majestic. Enjoyed a great stop on a sunny day to enjoy the views from up and down the cliffs

Pukekohe Showgrounds
Park
๐ซค Ridiculous making pensioners climb back up a step hill to access their car. To add insult to injury the entry gate was now shut and roped off with no indication of how to get out!
Show was pretty much like any A&P show.

Rooseville Park

๐๐ Beautiful place. Forest is dying because there is no regrowth. Too much foot traffic or possibly pests eating the newly sprouting trees? Sad. Really a nice shaded walk, but also seems like something is eating the inside of the trees. Called MPI and Council, nobody is concerned. ๐

๐ A great place to walk the dog. And, I guess, a great place to go if you have a mountain bike! I don't.
The bike tracks are maintained by the Puni MTB Club. I would love to see the jumps etc being used because they look like fun.
The area is an extinct volcano, and is the site of a Maori Pa. Unfortun...
