Storied fortress built in the 17th century, now with a museum & occasional events.

👍👍 Really nice area with vikinggraves, beautiful nature and beaches. Lots of benches and good tracks for walking/jogging. Parking seem a bit limited close to the main area.

👍👍 In addition to having a view with a wonderful sunset, the place is full of “memories” of World War II! "The Coastal Fort is a military facility built to prevent sea attacks on land." Worth the visit!

👍👍 An must-see attraction in Vestfold. Minnehallen is located in Stavern overlooking the coastline. This beautiful pyramid-shaped structure is a memorial to the seafarers who lost their lives in WW1 & WW2.

👍 Sunshine walk along the Brygge can be pleasant, sometimes windy. Nice restaurants, flowers, seating áreas And a longer walk leading to a beautiful bird watching tower.

👍👍 I wish I spent more time walking here. lovely scenery, historic place and definitely a lot to discover.

👍 Nice quite place with parking. Good location for small kids to play around. Small extremely dark tunnels to explore. No entrance tickets. Freely available for everyone.
