👍👍 Would go here everyday any day. One of the best beaches I have been to in a long time. Water is shallow and perfect for playing in the ocean. Beach is very wide so offers a lot of spots for visitors. Need to be lucky to find a good parking spot.

😐 The beach is beautiful, many restaurants available and a wonderful sunset. However, there are a lot of animal droppings on the beach sand (those who bring animals to the beach should clean up the animal droppings).

👍👍 Great beach close to train station. Trains to Lisbon every 18 minutes. Beach has restaurants and plenty of space. Sea is super cold because it’s the Atlantic though.

👍👍 Small but nice beach in the vicinity of the train station. The first beach you can see after your arrival from Lisbon. Unfortunately, the ocean is very cold, so most people use it for sunbathing.

👍👍 We took an uber from central Lisbon to Praia de São João beach (€19), amazing waves would recommend for experienced surfers. Amazing views and lots of great restaurants all around the cost of the beach. I would also recommend to stay a bit longer for the sunset.

👍👍 Beautiful view, loooong. Clean, golden sand, cold Atlantic, surfers' beach, not very large waves but not for swimming, still fun for all. Changing rooms, showers, food, drink, ice creams. Sand castles. Not very crowded. Free parking.

👍 Veryoooo nice. EVEN IN SUMMER, VERY FROZEN WATER. Beautiful, good structure close by. We enjoyed a train ride, a good lunch. Close to Lisbon, you have to make a quiet stroll. Have a good trip. Hit the train back ... Easy!
