👍👍 Really enjoyed our quick stop at this lovely café. We had a salad which I absolutely adored. It was not very cool here during the summer heat but I generally liked the café.

Vendors selling fish, fruit, vegetables, cheeses & flowers in a large hall, plus dining options.

Open-air market with merchants offering traditional street fare & beverages, plus local goods.

👍 Quiet spot but we were there in April so not high season. The cafe on the square was nice and the beach looked good. Our guide said the Presidential residence was nearby and that it was normal for him to swim there and walk the beach to just talk to people.

Trendy flea market open Sundays for vendors of vintage clothing, art, handmade gifts & food.

Major flea market, open Tues & Sat, with an eclectic mix of housewares, clothing, antiques & media.

Contemporary market & food court with sports on big-screen TVs, plus outdoor seating.

👍👍 Great market! You can find everything and support local businesses. I’m not sure it’s actually cheaper than continente or minipreço but it is nice. EVERYTHING IS FRESH and people are so nice!

👍 Todas as semanas vou a esta Feira (Mercado do Levante). Tem óptimos produtos frescos, com muita variedade e bons preços com boa qualidade. A peixaria também tem peixe fresco muito bom e bom atendimento. Tem de tudo, queijos, ovos, pão, bolos, etc. Há também as bancas das roupas, sapatos, óculos,...

😠 The atmosphere wasn't really nice in the Café (only plastic furniture and decoration). The food is very overpriced for what you get. We ordered a "pizza" (around 7€) which was actually just a couple of grams of mashed quinoa soaked in olive oil and arugula on top. Left the place hungrier than before...

👍 I like this fair; I point out that on the website it says that the fair is working but this does not always correspond to reality. Yes, it is working, on the second and fourth Sundays of each month. Recently moved to Ramalhão, which is close by; just ask what the locals indicate.
