Parque Arqueológico Maipés de Agaete
Historical landmark
👍👍 A very interesting archaeological site in middle of a lava field. Very quiet on our visit. Signage excellent in Spanish and English. Toilets and a shop. Accessibility good.

Playa La Caleta
Nature preserve
👍👍 A hidden gem, which we discovered by chance. It's the most beautiful place in Gran Canaria to my opinion after two months living here.
Breathtaking and possible to sunbath or swim but be careful when the waves are big it's dangerous

Huerto de Las Flores - Jardín Botánico de Agaete
Botanical garden
👍👍 Small but cute garden filled with beautiful plants. A bit of shade and scents on a sunny day. The opening days are unusual, it was closed on Sunday, so make sure you check before going. The lady you buy tickets from was lovely and she speaks English. There's bathroom but no parking outside, however...

Playa de las Nieves
Beach
👍👍 Beautiful pebble beach and harbor. There is also a place from which you can jump into the water, as well as many wooden footbridges on which you can lie down with a towel and at the same time so that the canals do not interfere with sunbathing :)
