😐 The Bay of Vigo was mentioned in the book “20 000 Leagues Under the Sea” written by Jules Verne. After publishing his book, he visited the city of Vigo aboard his yacht Saint Michel III. The bronze sculpture, made in 2005, was to commemorate to centenary of the death of the writer.

👍👍 Me encanta el monumento. Las aguas que brotan de la escultura está en armonía con el entorno. Las expresiones de sus caras están muy bien conseguidas. Situada al inicio de la Gran Vía.
