👍 Bogesund Castle is a former manor in municipality of Vaxholm and it is close to Vaxholms golf club. It is located in the center of the Bogesundslandet nature reserve. The castle was built in the 1640s and rebuilt in 19th century. It is an interesting place to visit.

👍👍 Denna hyfsat rejäla gamla fästning från 1863 var aktiv i försvaret fram till 1940-talet, även om den förlorade sin funktion redan 1925.
Var det 20:e batteriet i Vaxholmslinjen och skulle hjälpa Vaxholms fästning att försvara inloppet till Stockholm och hade lite olika beväpning genom åren.
