👍👍 Stayed here 2 years ago and must say it was the best 2 weeks of my life, the cottage was lovely and the studio next door made a lovely morning coffee spot. I highly recommed to anyone wjth kids.

🫤 Very Friendly community shop run by volunteers who are not always well versed on how the till works or the stock and prices so patience is needed And rewarded with smiles and laughter. Don’t expect to be able to park outside the shop.

👍👍 Pop in occasionally, mainly when family are up. Proper Coffee. Can get a bite for lunch! Homebaked, handmade cakes of top patisserie level, never disappoints on the sweet treats and shouldn't be passed on. Servers always fantastic, polite and prompt. Free WiFi.

👍👍 Great local venue for live music, giving up and coming local bands a platform to hone their skills. Was lucky enough to see Carlisle band Sugarspun play a brilliant set to a full house. You don't get ripped off with drink prices and the source has a great atmosphere.
