👍👍 Lovely little site on the edge of Ashwell. 3 pubs to choose from, good walks across farm tracks, village has a few shops. Staff helpful and friendly. Stay there regularly.

Riverside paths lead through a rural area with coarse fishing ponds, walks, event space and camping.

👍👍 Had a great weekend scout camp. Lovely weather helped but site was clean tidy and well maintained. Staff we encountered were helpful. The scouts loved the caving bus even though it was quite warm on a very warm day. They enjoyed other activities as well but also liked the space to just play and expl...

🫤 This camping is in a very strange environment, so might be a pro to some people or a con to the others.. the toilet was fairly clean. No showers. You have to pay on top for electricity. No rubbish bins on the campsite. They ask you to take your rubbish with you.
