👍👍 There are a few different routes to the caves. This one was from beside Belfast Castle. It's quite steep in places but if you take your time, you should be fine. Worth carrying on up to the fort at the top.. The view is AMAZING!!!

👍👍 Started at the Ott carpark on Slievenaman Road and finished at Meelmore Lodge. Reckon it was 8-10miles. Had cars parked at both ends. Meelmore carpark cost £4. The walk took us 5hrs (including a long lunch) and the weather was fine all day. Highly recommend this walk.

👍👍 Walk from Newcastle can be a challenge for most but very doable with granite stone path for most of the way. Views both of Dundrum Bay and then also into the Annalong Valley well worth the effort. Wild horses can be seen in my last couple of visits grazing along the way.
