👍👍 This cafe is wonderful! The staff are super friendly and the food and drink is fabulous. The place has such a lovely atmosphere. I've been in for pleasure but also used as a work base too. Free (good) WiFi for 2 hours. Perfect.

👍👍 We stopped for a cup of tea and cake and got the warmest welcome. The slices of cake were huge and absolutely delicious and the tea was lovely. Great service, lovely atmosphere we'll definitely be back.

👍👍 Wonderful little place, volunteers only too happy to give a guided tour around the old buildings, cafe extremely good value and staff so helpful. Great walks around the area with some stunning views! All in all a fab few hours out, great views and great value

👍👍 A former colliery site transformed into a nature park. It hasn't been over-managed and there are plenty of wild areas of flowers and long grass. There are several lakes and pools which are good for wildfowl. Some of them are fenced off to prevent disturbance. The site is excellent for butterflies....
