😠 One star for the bad state that this monument is in! Something of such historical significance should not be neglected the way it is. There are homeless people, there is rubbish everywhere, the building is dirty, the nameplate of those that lost their lives is falling off. Whats the government doing...

👍👍 So lovely to visit and find the house and grounds open too. I have never been in the grounds or The Priory before. Well worth a visit when they next have an open day. You don't need tickets and it's free entry.

👍👍 Beautiful garden- with lovely trees. Ample benches to rest and enjoy the peace and tranquility. Family, wheelchair and dog friendly. Scenic, free to public.

👍 The castle really is just a ruin, not much left of it, nice bit of history though, apparently it is said that king Henry V was born here. There's also a lovely memorial garden to the left of it. Worth a look if you're in the area as it has a few old buildings around the area and a lovely little town...
