👍 Been several times and although cosy it can get a good atmosphere going. On my first 8 visits it was closed three times and open for a private function on one other. They do seem to be a bit lax with meeting advertised opening times. A beer garden has finally been allowed to open in time for winter...

👍 If you like real ales and if you can get past the locals this is the place to go. Good selection of local and wider selection of ales, they give discounts for blue card and post military personnel. The prices are very reasonable, there is even a selection of bottles and cans behind the bar.

👍👍 Easily one of the best pubs I've been to in a long while. Really friendly staff. Great food. Great atmosphere, great customers. Plenty of staff behind the bar and never had to wait more than 3 minutes for a drink.
