👍 I parked at the Church and walked over to the boundary fence. It was in the grassland of the property there. I couldn't find a way to get any closer. Lovely view from church car park.

👍 Always difficult to judge earthworks in a field ('humps and bumps', as one typewriter-hurling chairman of English Heritage once called them), but this is archaeologically an important site and on a lovely day, well, what's not to like!?

Roman Fountain
Tourist attraction
🫤 The Roman aqueduct is underneath a car park, so you can't actually see it. Maybe someday the council will pay to have it excavated, but for now the location of the aquaduct is marked with a modern fountain and a plaque.
