👍👍 What an absolute hidden gem. The staff are attentive, polite and very welcoming. The food is superb quality and in my mind reasonably priced. The views are stunning from the beer garden and the church facing the pub is a beautiful historic building.

👍👍 Proper traditional pub. Very welcoming and it has that country pub feel. Open fires etc, proper beer too. We had baskets of food but only took a picture of the homemade scotch egg. All the food was great, chips were especially food. All in all a great pub and worth a visit if you're nearby.

👍👍 We were heading for the pub on a cycle ride, when we arrived the pub was shut (due to open later in the day). The landlord was outside and very kindly offered to open up just for us so we could have a pint or 2. Such a lovely and generous thing to do. Would definitely return.
