Best places: Hiking areas in Machen, United Kingdom

👍👍 Great place for a walk with a few, not too challenging routes around the hill. The mountain overlooks Caerphilly; from its top you can see the Caerphilly Castle as well as a better part of the town. When the sky is clear you can also see Cardiff Bay from here, as well as hills around Newport.

😐 Great park and sculpture trail. Unfortunately there was a lot of litter including dog poop bags and the parking was a little tight. I did enjoy the bear sculpture where it looked like the baby bear ran into the wrong bit of the daddy bear for a cuddle
