👍👍 Excellent real ale bar. Sister pub the Mounting Stone in Bramhall. Regularly changing beers from other breweries. Close to the train station. Well worth the visit but check opening times. Well hidden door to the toilets. Meet here with my old codger friends every few weeks.

👍👍 Regularly changing selection of solid ales, reasonably priced. Strong range of whiskies, ciders too. Proper jovial pub atmosphere. Cracking little covered beer garden/smoking area out the back, with a heater. Loads of board games downstairs. Go!

👍👍 Easily the best real ale pub in the area. ( but Wobbly Stamp micro bar beats it on regular range turnover.) Since pandemic they concentrate on the whole range of Hydes beers. (Hydes, Beer Studio, Provenance, Ralf and Alf.) Friendly pub refurbished to a very good standard. Lovely staff.
