👍👍 Lovely nature reserve to walk round. There’s a toilet at the start, then 3 bird hides to wander round to. There’s nothing in the way of amenities so bring a drink, some binoculars and some bug spray!

👍👍 After a brilliant day walking we stopped off for food and drink at the on site community center it was excellent and dog friendly,they also do guided walks bird watching etc . The area has board walks so you don't get muddy.

👍 I love this reserve. So peaceful and lovely to walk around. I am gutted to see that they are building houses right across from it.

👍👍 A great place to walk and enjoy nature trails; there's a good circuit of Geocaches hidden there too. After dark it's a meeting place for gays and swingers, but very discrete.

👍 Excellent walk through fields and wooded area. Very safe for walking and so far unspoilt by litter louts and rubbish tippers. Lovely countryside views including sight of the famous Angel of the North. Fantastic way of spending time in the countryside.
