👍👍 Off the beaten track. They offer free guided tours of the massive collection of 1.2 million items in storage. All the items are stored in meshed casing or on racks. If there are only a few people on the tour it will be tailored to the group interests. We saw fossils, taxidermy, Indian truck panels,...

👍👍 Great place to understand the history of weaving in the local area. The cottage is split over a few levels with living and work areas. There is a lovely small garden at the rear and also a small shop selling a few items. The staff knew their subject and were very helpful.

👍👍 A beautiful experience visiting the cottages! The volunteers were so helpful and knowledgeable! There was so much kindness in the air and the small details were so beautiful! I would definitely recommend!

😠 Very poor, little or no information about local history or industries. Very disappointing. I feel vexed for people who are tracing their heritage and go there expecting to find a mine of information. Quite frankly, the Museum is an embarrassment to Clydebank.
