Barling Magna Wildlife Reserve
Nature preserve
π Lovely reserve, car parking for approximately 12 cars, idyllic spot for a family picnic. If you want a walk then it's too small, but you can walk out of the car park and head down to the sea wall which will fulfil all your walking needs.

Wallasea Island Wild Coast project
Nature preserve
ππ Fantastic place. Long walks with shelter here and there. Huge skies. Seals, hares, cormorants , egrets, and all sorts. Spent the whole day there. Pack a sandwich and water though. No facilities. Big thumbs up from me. π

New Wallasea Island RSPB Reserve
Nature preserve
ππ Love it here great for birding and wildlife photography especially in the winter months when the hen harriers arrive along with the short eared owls.. Fantastic place for kestrels all year round. Unfortunately no toilets. I understand that rspb are making this amazing reserve wheelchair friendly.
