St. Mary's R.C. Church
Catholic church
👍👍 A wonderful church which I have sadly not been able to visit in a long time. My 3x great grandmother and her descendants have worshipped and celebrated many milestones here ever since the church was built.

👍👍 A most beautiful, exquisite walk. Surrounded by so much nature, the stepping stones of logs, the nooks and crannies for the wild life.
I walk this every week and every time I constantly see something breathtaking.
It always takes me back to being a child with pure excitement and delight.

👍👍 Great place to learn a bit about Primitive Methodism. We received a warm welcome with coffee, tea, and cookies. The guides were so friendly, showing us around the church and the collection of treasures in storage across the street.

Winterley Pool
Lake
👍👍 Lovely place to fish. Gated car park, not too many pegs which means plenty of water for everyone. No litter or mess. Bailiff was a really nice fella who was willing to talk about the lake, but wasn't one of these bailiffs who's constantly checking on you. He was also very apologetic about the amount...
