Air Trail Tees Barrage
Rock climbing
ππ Really good value for money. Β£8 for an hour. They have a loyalty card scheme which can be used at Go Climb too.
Staff are very good. They go up on the airtrail and help the kids taking part. Will be visiting regularly over the summer.

Bowesfield Marsh
Nature preserve
ππ A lovely place filled with nature. Bowesfield Marsh makes for a good walk with friends and family in the daytime and seems pretty dog friendly.
It's not so well lit at night, of course, as it seems it's being kept as close to nature as possible so there are no lights around the trail bar a small on...

Billingham Beck Valley Country Park
Country park
ππ The country park is pretty timeless, and absolutely ideal for dog walkers or families who want to explore a little, throw sticks, get a little muddy etc. It has a few features such as bridges, a pond & waterway etc, all good for killing a few hours time.
