πŸ‘πŸ‘ Been visiting Barmouth at least once a year now for the last 8 years, miles of clean , dog friendly beaches , excellent eateries and pubs but best of all the place is not overly commercialised unlike so many other seaside towns around the country. πŸ‘πŸ‘ Lovely beach, easily accessible. Park, walk 50m and you're on the beach. Walk another 100m and you're at a cafe with toilets. Much nicer than Barmouth, less busy and more interesting ecologically, with salt marshes and plenty of hikes around.

We were given hard hats and a torch, and the route was explained. It was pretty quiet when we got there, perhaps only 4 cars in the car park...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Such a lovely hidden gem. I recommend walking the whole way up to the old stone bridge at the top then on to the ancient stone circle. So peaceful and an absolute delight. Access to the lakes is also possible but this is a further walk

πŸ‘πŸ‘ A beautiful location with plenty of ancient historical remains and a scenic walk up through the woods, alongside the river to reach here. We set off from the public car park in Tal y Bont, near to the Ysgethin Inn and along the Afon Ysgethin. The track takes you up through a wooded valley past small...
