👍 Enjoyed the north gorge walk going down to Cheddar. Free parking at the top with a moderate walk along the path - not slippery or dangerous but have decent shoes on. Allow about an hour. There is a south gorge walk too to make it a circular walk or walk back on the road - stunning views on all route...

👍 Great place to visit for a day out. You can pay to do the attractions, but the cliff top walk is free if you access it via the footpath near Lion’s Rock and come down via Jacob’s Ladder. Otherwise it’s £6.50 per adult to go up Jacob’s Ladder. There is parking available in the Gorge but this is typic...

👍👍 We walked past here doing part of the south coastal path (west bay to golden cap) cloudy day but still lovely to see the views and have hike up. Not a bad hill to walk up, we didn't find it difficult at all. Can get blowy on the top and no shelter from the rain if it comes in.

Beach is pebbles and dog friendly but not ideal for dogs with the pebbles as they are. The village is just beautiful and its lovely...

👍👍 Always a pleasure visiting a pagan monument. The local Christians have erased the history regarding the giant. It was likely built circa 700-900AD to honor the god Thor.
