👍 English heritage building that can be visited via bike from borough green station but no way of public transportation. Theres a room with information and a lrger room accessible upstairs via stairs. Parking limited to only 3 to 4 cars at once but usually no one visit this place.

👍 One of the quieter English Heritage sites. Not a great deal to see and no facilities, but interesting if you’re in the area nonetheless Nowhere on site to park, so we had to find a spot in the village and walk up. Great views from the castle itself. Worth dropping in if you’re close by.

🫤 I'm not disparaging the tower by only giving it two stars. It's just that it's a very small site with not much to see or do. However the tower is sturdy and impressive. Around the back, where the tower doorway is, I met a local who was very surprised to encounter another visitor there. They aler...
