👍 England’s newest National Nature Reserve - Wild Ennerdale. What a great site! A partnership of 3 national land holders (Forestry England, National Trust & United Utilities in collaboration with Natural England) coming together to rewild the site through re-establishing natural processes. An absolu...

👍👍 Fantastic walk and impressive views of waterfalls and Bleancwm and further down the valley. We did both lower and upper walks following well defined paths . It does get steep going up to the larger waterfalls, but we'll worth it. I would recommend sturdy walking boots for this walk as the path is u...

Ledmore & Migdale
National forest
🫤 It's a beautiful spot, but too many irresponsible dog owners let their untrained dogs run around unleashed and bother people. If you don't like to be bothered by other people's pets, you better find somewhere else to walk. The dogs have taken over.

Duncansby Head Beach

👍 Really cool place, quite a steep descent down the cliff so I wouldn't recommend that for everyone. Also some slippy beech rocks to contend with if you want to reach the caves. However there's still some breathtaking views from the top of the cliffs

👍👍 Glenariff forest park is a must see if you're visiting Northern Ireland. It's located just 1 hour drive north of Belfast and is very accessible by car. Arriving at the location I was surprised to see that parking for cars was £5 for the day and even more for vans, luckily when we got there the park...

👍👍 The most beautiful spot for a walk. You’ve got a forest walk, a play park, parts of the walk where your dog can swim, picnic tables for your lunch and if you’re lucky, you might catch an ice cream van! It’s a family favourite place for us!!

👍👍 Great place for a walk in amongst beautiful surroundings. The little cafe offers a selection of teas, coffees and other soft drinks and has plenty of seating. I visited on a Saturday and the car park closed at 16:00, and there is also free parking available on the roadside.

👍👍 Don’t miss this magical place if you’re in Wales! Idyllic biking trails, bike rentals, great hiking, nice children’s playground and cafe better than most (with vegetarian and GF options- vegetable soup was the best menu item, hummus also nice. Could be improved by carrying almond milk). Also featu...

👍👍 Really lovely place walk. We stayed in the area for a week and this became the morning dog walk rout. There are three routs, all of which quite easy- due to what I assume is bad weather, there are some paths that have trees to climb over- but we loved this! Large, flat car park and helpful informat...
