😐 It's a good market with separate areas including a meat and fish area, , although it is better than some other local markets it's a shadow of its former self with stalls severely cut in number. Although what remains are decent quality vendors with some really good items

👍👍 The ladies running the Cafe where delightful, warm and inviting. Service with a smile. The food was exemplary. The meat pie was full of chicken and the scone was to die for. We are definitely going back for a full on meal before we leave the Pontefract area.

😐 It's a bit tired and depressing. Too many mobile phone accessory stalls, the usual cheap clothing options and again, too many clothes repair options with two stalls directly opposite each other. They did have a decent Halloween display and pop up shop for costumes
