👍👍 We spend half day in the city centre of Chester. This city is really beautiful with lots of landmark . Love Eastgate street where we spend our morning here to shop around and visit, it was packed with people and I definitely love the atmosphere here.

👍 Beautiful! You can reach it by walking/cycling along the canal or by car. If you want to relax better going early in the morning and week days if possible as very popular for groups in summer and the field close to it is not huge if you want to sit and have a picnic. You can also walk or swim there...

👍 Little place suits family and children for a small walk. Not big anyway but good for 1-2 hours and you can both enjoy the spectacular view of Lake Windermere and children can go to the playground nearby. Definitely need to drive a car if you want to explore more places in Lake District.
