👍👍 Fantastic, come here and listen to the waves polish the cobbles, climb the cliffs and watch the birds. Enjoy the lack of crowds and watch the fog burn off in the mid day sun while lobstermen haul in traps. This was our favorite place in the park and it's a hidden gem. We will return only wish we had...

👍👍 It's a beautiful beach! The kids love the view and looking for shells. Parking was close to the shoreline. Across the street near the potties is a volley ball net and I believe a swimming hole. Recommend.. then just drive around and check out Fort George and Castine. Beautiful area of Maine. This ar...

👍 This is the only place win Acadia where you are allowed to swim because this lakes water is not used for drinking. Water was too cold in mid June. Lake is beautiful and calm. Its in quiet side of Acadia. There’s a picnic table right in front of lake.

👍👍 Nice clean beach, easy access from parking with public restrooms and rinse shower. The water is cold, but the way it gradually gets deeper it was perfect swimming for the kiddos. The sand is fine and perfect for building Sandcastles! Great family beach in Maine!

😐 Beautiful place but the pond is very dangerous. There are places that are fairly shallow, but the bottom suddenly drops off drastically to deep water and my sons nearly drowned.

👍 It is a nice clean place. If you decide to swim in Maine in June, then that's the place to go. The water is warm because the bay is relatively small and shallow, so the water warms up quickly. It is a perfect place for kayaking but we didn't think of brining a boat with us. I'm not sure if there are...

👍 this is not Peacock Beach. This location and photo are from the park in Richmond at the junction of Route 197 and Route 24. It is on the Kennebec River with Swan Island across the water. Lovely spot! Peacock Beach is on Route 201 in Richmond on Pleasant Pond. I have no idea where this second photo o...
