👍 The lake is inside Oscar Scherer State Park. The area is very beautiful. It is a nice place to visit and be alone in nature. The park is also home to the endangered scrub jay and gopher tortoise. There is an eagle nest on the property.

👍👍 This is a neat, DEEP lake. Be prepared to navigate if doing scuba, the viz is very low, but there are some neat finds at 100'+. There is a halocline at about 95', sunken boats, some statues.
