👍👍 Amoco Park is a hidden gem, tucked away with a great little parking lot, picnic area, adjacent to the Platte River Trails and the beautiful North Platte River. One cool thing about this park that we love is the labyrinth / Bart Rea Learning Circle.

👍👍 The white water park is near the Tate Pumphouse and Amoco Park. It's beautiful and lots of fun for kayaks, tubes, boats, and other river-goers. Please wear a life jacket/PFD when in and around this water - it looks deceptively calm but is so and fast moving. Loaner life jackets provided at numerous...

👍👍 A great little park with two playgrounds and a walking path. The playgrounds are surrounded by rubber mulch, my personal favorite (fewer scrapes after falls). There are two gazebos with picnic tables and trash cans. The trees are young but there's still a decent amount of shade on sunny days.

👍 Located just north of the city of Casper. We camped at the end of the season where night temperatures reached 32 degrees. The check in process was easy and can be done at any hour alone. The camping spots are spacious and provide privacy. Be warned there is no reception for any carrier but Verizon.
