👍👍 Awesome beach! You forget that you're in Chicago. It's not a nude beach (officially), but it very definitely has a Haulover Beach feel to it. The north end of the beach tends to be the family end, while the south end is more fun, open-minded, and LGBT.

Large beach with showers, a playground, fitness center, handball courts & free WiFi.

👍 The beach area is accessible, although covered in pebbles and branch/leaf debris. It's a smaller beach front, so in the summer it fills up quickly, but it's nice and intimate when it's not full. We visited on a cooler day, so there weren't as many people around maling it nice & intimate.

👍 Went with my family and had a great time. Very clean. Love it

🫤 Unfortunately the beach is no longer - the high waves were eroding the shore to such a degree that the city had to move in and fill in the beach with big boulders. Very sad...
