Kirby Storter Roadside Park

👍👍 Always a cool place to stop on the way to Naples! Definitely make the stop and see what animals you find. It’s about 15-20 minutes to walk to the end of the boardwalk. The Everglades is full of life and all kinds of noises lol. Planning to stop here every time and see what we find!

👍👍 We stopped here in 2008 and had a fun time seeing gators, and then ended up stopping again in 2023. Still there and still fun! There are lots of alligators, snapping turtles, fish jumping, and a lovely shaded picnic area.

👍👍 This place did not disappoint.
Flora and fauna abound. You need days to explore this very wild Florida location. $3.00 per car entrance fee is cheap. Lots of hiking trails...all flat.
Met up with a very "seasoned" couple from NH...like me and they took me with them on a orchids & fern viewing hike....
