This historic 1850s cemetery is the burial site of Margaret Mitchell & other notable locals.

🫤 The general manager could take some lessons on how to conduct himself with grieving loved ones. 2 stars because the two ladies at the front were very pleasant and apologized for his unprofessional behavior.

👍👍 Incredible cemetery. You’ll almost always see deer all around the area, and on summer nights you can watch thousands of bats leave the abandoned water tower for the night. The cemetery is huge and has great architecture. Be sure to check out the abbey when it’s open to visitors again!
