ππ Our family enjoys this local Edina playground! The hill is great for sledding in the winter. The skating rink is also a great spot.
In the summer, it's a nice playground to visit. Great for elementary aged kiddos as the playground equipment isn't too high or big.

Walnut Ridge Park

π Large open space that is a pace or two short of a half mile in diameter. It's nestled in an upper-middle-class neighborhood in Edina Minnesota and can be difficult to find.
It's a great place to fly a kite, play tennis, or try your hand in catching a fish in nine mile creek which girdles the park....

Deducted one star for a tumble in the small dog park because of an aggressive hole. (Which was filled in next time we...

π Nice place to walk the dogs. Met a friend (in the photo) and we strolled around Lewis Park. Easy walking, level surfaces, lots of grassy spaces. Playground at the far end with a zip line, lots of trash and recycle bins available, good sight lines, water and a small bridge. Nice community park.

ππ Remember when this park first was dedicated in 1967. The field facing south was where we played baseball every day during the summer with some days up to 30 kids playing in those games. Played kickball in the elm tree lined street. Capture the flag summer nights with all the neighborhood kids.. l...
