👍👍 Mertensia park is a hidden jewel to me. I frequent it for my own personal walks and meditation, as well as enjoying it with others and for photo shoots. The water is soothing. The flora is beautiful, especially when the Mertensias are in bloom. Just a great place to be overall!

👍👍 A small Wisconsin state park of native peoples mounds. Nearly two dozen remain extant. Informational displays provide history and context. One can walk paths around existing mounds some of which are now in deeply shaded woods. A lovely hours walk.
