👍👍 Who reviews a bridge? Who does that?? I guess I do now??? It’s a nice, historic(?) bridge. It will hold you as you cross the waters below. It’s a pretty bridge, bridging a pretty island, in a pretty park. From beneath, it is not nearly as pretty. It’s actually a bit dank down there.

👍👍 The weather was great, and we had a nice time. The bridge has been restored. Clear paths with plenty of picnic benches/areas. It is state park, so there is a parking fee. But we'll worth it for how clean and well kept it is.

👍 Walking along the flood plains near the mouth of the Van Duzen River Bridge is nice, River Access is found on Sandy Prairie Rd. Fun to watch the birds flying out of their cliff view nests, and to see fish and frogs. Water is low enough to walk across in July. Great place to visit in Humboldt County.
