Best places: Local history museums in Forty Fort, United States

👍👍 Very informative, pleasant people, learned some things & tour was very neat & educational.... Bring a coat it's 50⁰ all year & wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty, it's a "coal" mine!

👍 Cute small place. They have 6 rooms of things to view. The give you a speaker to who with they explains everything you see. They say the tour takes 30mins, it's really about 15mins. It's cool tho. They have a good gift shop. They also sell ugg products. I enjoyed it

Museum in a landmark 19th-century brick mansion featuring period furnishings & tours.

👍👍 Fall Rendezvous and WWII weekends are fun. The "Rev War" is cool, and way uncrowded. Period actors and dedicated volunteers are all over. Food isn't great, but enough to keep you going. Mead and friendly folks make it a cultural must. Support local uniqueness!!!

👍👍 The Locktender's House was an interesting place to visit. I rode by there while riding on the D&L trail to Slatington. The lock was interesting, as well. The signage around the area was very informative.
