👍👍 Had wanted to do this trail for awhile as Wildland firefighting was part of my duties in another lifetime.  Its not a very long hike but a decent amount of elevation gain.  Take the time to read the interpretive signs as they do a great job explaining the sequence of events leading up to the tragedy...

👍👍 Climbed to the top on this trail, steady climb but not technical, easy road. Came down on grandstaff, total blast. Finished by taking wulfson to the rec center, A nice easy cool down Trail to finish. Note the photo is from the upper Grandstaff Trail coming down.

👍 The trail is easy and not long. Do wear comfortable shoes and bring water. There are some spots where one can go down to the streams and cool off.
