👍👍 I got a recommendation from a local that this would be a great spot to check out if I wanted to see birds and gators. Sadly, no gators but lots of birds! (and other critters). Be warned, there’s a $2 entry fee and they only accept cash (I had to leave to find an ATM)

👍👍 Went for the walking trail. It was a great paved path. 1.8 miles took us around 2 hours with a 20month old who likes to walk on his own. Stopped for a snack lunch we brought at the canoe launch. There's also an elevated boardwalk which was beautifully surrounded by the river and nature.

👍👍 We put in our kayaks here and floated down to Morris Bridge Park on Nov. 9. This is an extremely easy 4.5 mile float. We had a strong current, so we didn't actually have to paddle, except to steer. I didn't use any bug repellent and not one bug bit. We didn't even see any biting insects.

👍👍 I'm trying to think of where to start with this review. There was just so much. So I'll just start by saying, this is a wonderful park to bring the kiddos out to have parties. It was very clean, including the restrooms and there were several pavilions with barbecue pits.

👍👍 Some of the most natural views of the real Florida are hidden in this park. The hiking paths and trails are very well marked and very easy to walk on minus the occasional tree roots. Great for dogs, kids or beginner hikers. There is a nicely maintained wooden boardwalk that runs along the river that...
