ππ Amazing place to walk. Sand is very fine.
You can drive all the way in or stay a little back and just walk. There were some sand castles by the parking. Portable potty are available near the beach and flushable ones are a bit farther.

Deadman's Cove
Tourist attraction
ππ We were there 5/16/2022 and met Jon Swanson, the man responsible for clearing and cleaning up the area. His dedication, hard work, and pride is a thing of marvel for he voluntarily labors daily, in addition to his regular job, to haul out trash, cut down dead, potentially dangerous trees, remove...

π Remains of the skeleton of a grey whale from 1805!!! This is on the ground ahead of the whale statues along the board walk trail. Basalt Monolith
Tourist attraction
π A cool tourist attraction. It goes well with the Gray Whale Skeleton. It has a cool, well, monolith with stuff about Lewis and Clark written on all sides. Behind it was a metal statue of Clark standing next to the big sturgeon he caught. It was so realistic, my dog growled at it!
A cool little thing...

Seaview Beach Approach
Public beach
π Too many people driving. It doesn't feel safe to let your dog run around or to allow your kids to play. The tire tracks and litter makes the beach feel like a wasteland. Gross! Stick to the state or national parks.
