👍👍 Google directions are wrong, you end up in a campsite 4 miles down the highway. 395S exit Elena. Turn left to cross the 395N. Dirt road with quick elevation, strongly suggest 4x4. Gusty winds and chilly. Beautiful viewpoint built by BSA. Binoculars are a must.

👍👍 Did the hike to Long Lake today. Snows are starting to melt all the way to Long Lake. From Long Lake and onward still have lots of snow. It was sunny and hot so no warm clothes needed even though still snow in some area.

This place has 6-7 odd lakes .The hike is not easy but worth it.I think if we can do it then a lot can.
We took 4 hrs to reach first lake .People took 2.5 hrs .But we took our own...
