👍👍 When we went, it was a hot day, and this was a great place to cool off. Some of our group swam, some kayaked, and some just floated on tubes. We lingered at the rocks across the lake, enjoying the water and our visit together.

Elm Brook Park
Park
👍👍 We love elm Brook! It's a beautiful beach, with life jackets available to borrow, perfect spot to kayak/canoe, theres a metal accessable dock for fishing a little bit past the beach, the path to get there is grass covered, but flat. Plenty of parking. Down side the bathrooms are no where near that...

👍👍 When we walk along the Cotton Valley Rail Trail, we always stop at Allen Albee Beach for the view of Lake Wentworth, regardless of the season. Albee Beach has an expansive view of the mountains and some small islands in the distance. Today was a nice sunny day in March which makes me long for the su...

👍👍 Oh my cornstalks, let me gush about Bicentennial Square in Concord, NH! It's like a slice of apple pie in the heart of the city. This place isn't just a square; it's a "square-ific" wonderland of fun! The fountain dances like nobody's watching, and the benches are like hugs for your tush. Talk about...

New Durham Town Beach - Parks & Rec
Public beach
🫤 As long as you don't mind the many Trump supporters and are aware you'll get a $100 parking ticket if you're not a local, then you're good to go. This beach is pretty sad to be honest.

👍👍 Bathrooms are nice, grass is nice, no trash, plenty of places to sit, public grills, a small play ground with a slide and a swing set. Saw multiple families with strollers and wagons. I'll have to double check next time I go how wheelchair friendly it is, it didn't occur to me the first time.
