Took our dog for a leashed paddle in the Lake - wasn't very crowded either of the times we were there.

👍 It's a nice little sand beach that allows a nice walk-in to the harbor.
As with most of the local coastline, the water is so clear you can't believe it. Yes, it's chilly (even at the end of July), but once you get past the initial shock, it's quite pleasant.
